We built an AI system that can verify a claim in seconds — the same time it takes to forward a message — so the decision to share is always an informed one.

How the Technology Works
Factum uses a multi-layer AI pipeline built on large language models and real-time web search. When you forward content:
- We extract the primary verifiable claims from your message.
- We search live web sources for corroborating or contradicting evidence.
- We assess the credibility and recency of sources.
- We synthesise a verdict — true, false, misleading, or AI-generated — with a confidence score.
- We reply in plain language, with links to sources so you can read further.
Complex or ambiguous claims are escalated to our most capable AI model for a more thorough analysis.
